What is Article Marketing?

Article Marketing is using articles to promote your website with focused keywords as links in your article that link back to your website. The reason why it works well is, because articles offer information and this is what people are looking for on the internet.

Articles are published on article directories that offer the articles to other people looking for content for their own website or blog. This way your article with your links are distributed all over the internet. The article with the links to the keywords is a highly effective search engine optimization technique. This allows your website to get valuable one way backlinks and high search engine rankings.

Most article directories will allow you to have a resource box with your links to your website or links in the article itself. People may re-use your article with the condition that they do not alter the links to your website.

You can write your own article and add your links or ask a writer to write the article with your keywords for you. You then add this article to as many directories as possible. You want as many links pointing to your website as possible.
